Imaginary Numbers would like to announce that we think of our allies very closely.

I have seen some posts by a few people regarding FDP's and that you should only be used when your ally is hit by another alliance.

Our position on this is simple. If you have an FDP with Imaginary Numbers, that means we value your friendship. Regardless of the situation, who hit who, or the status of the war, if one of our FDP's is at war and we are not pacted to that alliance. Imaginary Numbers will help our ally and we will declare war unless we are asked not to by our FDP.

We support our allies through thick and thin.

This is more for this set, but yeah i seen it brought up in the SOF thread and I just thought now was a good time to announce this rather than at the end of the set.

I would support this thread if it was posted by anyone else but iScode. I know this is really some evil plot with the intent to subject us to his cruelty.

Not sure what you're saying here? If your FDP attacks another alliance, you will join in??

Iscode there is no logic in helping a FDP that started a conflict.

IF you both go to war at the same time - that is one thing. But if a FDP of yours FS another alliance it is not moral to call you in.

Full defense pact - stands for DEFENSE. And by no means i could agree to start ( for example) a bar fight and call the "friends" if i receive 1 punch.

probably depends on whether they're winning or not. if they're winning then they're on the offensive, if they're losing then they're on the defensive.

If my best mate starts a fight and i think he needs help then im gonna jump in regardless if he gets one hit or not. Regardless if i think he deserves it.

fluff i have been known before to jump in and hit someone before they hit my mate, the old over the should hook to the jaw works wonders.

Imag values its allys, if you dont like it being called a FDP thats fine ill change the name of the pact, but thats what fdp's should be and thats what they will be for imag!

I hope you get my point. My intention is not to argue pacts around.

For me - if you start a fight make sure you can finish it(alone). If the offender(you ally) is attacked by other alliance/alliances than you have the right to jump in. Not if the offender gets beaten in an even war, after FS-ing.

you are assuming that the attacking alliance is on the side that is winning. Sometimes a smaller clan will fs a bigger clan in defense of its members even though they may be out numbered and out NW.

If we think our FDP needs help regardless of who FSed first and we are not pacted, we will help them.

it isn't complicated.

also that being said we don't throw out a FDP to anyone who wants one either.

I like what imag is saying here. I know lots of others will disagree but i like the logic of it. Worst case, more clans will be involved in wars and more countries = more fun.

Most people are fluffs. Imag just comes out with it. Some might call this honesty ;)
