I can not stand Trump either but i think the media is being one sided here. Whatever dumb stuff trump has said has pailed in comparison to what the Rev Wright has said. Obama stood by him even though he claims to disagree with what the Rev said. Think on this... Rev. Wright was Obamas spiritual leader. His comments were outrageous. Somehow Obama gets a pass and the media goes after Romney for being friends with Trump? Come on. At least we can all agree Trump is NOT Romneys spiritual leader. I see nothing wrong with doing fund raisers with him or accepting donations from Trump. The media is getting out of hand and so is the left wing of the dems party. ENOUGH.

FYI- i do not advocate going after either of them for being friends or listening to someone who has said some dumb stuff. Maybe you can judge their judgement on who they listen too but that should be left to the voters not medias.

how about anwar al-awlaki, a U.S. citizen that obama had killed without trial by a drone in yemen? how about all the other drone strikes in yemen, afghanistan, pakistan, etc.? about the war in afghanistan, or the illegal war that was waged libya? obama personally signs off on killing boatloads of dudes, and then in the bloody aftermath, defines every dead adult male by default as a "combatant" until proved otherwise. it's all been extensively reported

As to Romney and the Unicorn question: I propose that he is in fact a Wooly Mammoth. I also propose that short of real evidence of Obama having been born outside the US to two non-US citizen parents (the fact that his mother was American makes the whole where he was born argument a mute point), then I'm going to attack him on his failed economic policies and not on where he was born.



Obama killed Osama bin Laden by proxy. That's true. However, Osama Bin Laden was (if we can agree on nothing else) waging war against the United States of America. President Obama is the Commander-in-Chief of the United States armed forces; it is his duty to defend the nation and wage our wars (whether you agree with the wars or not). Osama bin Laden was killed in a war as combatant...not on a Chicago street by a gang on Obama's orders as an innocent witness to other criminal activity. People must make a clear distinction between killing someone and murdering someone.

If someone is threatening your life where there is a clear and present danger, then your killing that person is not murder. If you are a soldier waging your country's wars against enemy combatants, then you are not a murderer (even if enemy non-combatants are killed accidentally).

Murdering is always killing, but killing is not always murder. (Most Bibles translate the 6th Commandment wrong; the proper translation is, "Thou shalt not murder.")

The translation of the original hebrew (according to that, and other sources I can find) is "Murder".

Probably what happened is something got lost from Hebrew->Greek->English (which is why parts of the St James Bible Old Testament vs the version that jews use are somewhat different)

I think a point hidden in blid's comments are that people that called Bush a murderer are likely now giving Obama a free pass on that whole 'murder' thing they so greatly detested about Bush's wars.

blid isn't saying that, but I his other comments made me remember parades of protesters carrying 'Bush is a murderer' signs...
