This was an interesting piece; I think most of us know that there's no real money in running a piracy site, but it was interesting to get some numbers to back it up:

I paid $20 for a 2-year membership at MegaVideo, well worth it for me even if the damn Yankees messed it up. If we had real competition in media, we would see more Netflix style networks set-up. The latest and greatest would be a pull factor, but the breadth and depth of their library would be equally compelling.

It's only in the inflated world of $50 boxsets that it doesn't make sense.

So you think that certain things like education and jobs should be limited by economic background and not by hardwork and desire?

You try moving out of your current economic background and into a better bracket anywhere in Western civilization, and let me know how that works out for you. Because more than likely, the system will place you in a higher tax bracket, entangle you in pointless bureaucracy, subject you to laws you had no idea existed before, and probably even send a few IRS (or its equivalent) audits in your general direction for good measure. Oh, and the economy will tank, leaving you right back to where you were before, if not worse.
I am a troll. Everything I say must be assumed to be said solely to provoke an exaggerated reaction to the current topic. I fully intend to bring absolutely no substance to any discussion, ongoing or otherwise. Conversing with me is pointless.

i have no idea what you are talking about. there are 3 public libraries in my area that i can walk to in under an hour. not one of them will give me any credits for reading a book though.

also have no idea what NukEvil is talking about, but it is tax season.

Tax rates have never and will never stop a realistic venture from happening. If higher taxes (rather than sucking) inspire Bill O'Reilly [or any of the Roger Ailes mouthpieces] to stop making shows, the world will be a better place.
