I tried understanding the post in the link, but they are all talking about the proxy question, not the real issue.
If it is an unlawful law, then I am sure it will be overwritten once the political process starts again.
If it is lawful, I don't understand what the problem is.
If you just hate the "liberals" then say that, instead of this roundabout criticism.
For heavens sake, exercise your political duty and change the fluffing system if you are unhappy with it.
The new regulation gives owners 2 years to become compliant, they just can't buy new ones, or use their items from now, and after the two years they can apply to have their items "grandfathered" back to them.
