Depends on the tech market too. Last set was a rough tech market for buyers, great for sellers early. This set is the opposite. When you're a commie, that tech effectiveness bonus is massive, and you don't want to run turns without improving your tech. So if there's no indy, yeah, you get casher techs or mstrat. A little goes a long way. It's a useful thing to get used to, for want of a better phrase, sacrificing your present for the future. "If I buy all that tech now my turns will suck and be hard to run but I'll have more money tomorrow because of it" is the only way to function as an indystart.

A spy op called something like "infiltrate logistics" or "compromise distribution." The op targets the private market. There's a good case to be made for disrupting the charge rate, or for depleting units already generated. This is admittedly a narrow use case as far as utility, but it does exist. This can also add a new wrinkle to netting battles in clan servers.

Yeah I don't get the self deleting thing. I ruined my own chance at a good finish by breaking GDI on the wrong country, as soon as I was a little down it was a damn feeding frenzy, but I'm prosecuting war until the end now.

You set up a pretty crazy commie. Perfect start up, tons of tech early - though I think more geared towards hopes of a lot more land than is available, this set anyway. Put that country in here 10 years ago, maybe even a few years ago could be mammoth.

The vultures are of a hunger this set, and these days in general more so than ever.

Yeah, mostly what I learned is that when I play c/i my mentality is too aggressive for where this server is right now. I'll run techer next round, dial back my land hunger, and see if that works better for me (I already know it will lol). I definitely expected to be able to grab a little more than what I did. I also thought I could put myself out of humanitarians range, and I miscalculated that. Must've typod a number on the calc.

An imbalance in this game's player economy is what's led to much of the community discontent. These vids are properly viewed in the order posted. They're not that long, like 6 minutes each.

It’s kinda wild that a country with hardly any spies, that is very poorly run and with a poor spal, can do so much damage to an established country with high spal

I’d you try to attack me with AB’s and you don’t have enough tanks you simply don’t get through, and if you try to SS or PS without having enough military you simply don’t get through

However, you can have a low number or spies in a terrible country that can’t accomplish anything like this dude that’s hitting me, and you can still do all kinds of damage 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if having spy tech make a larger difference to larger countries might be a solution. Like, we don't haveenough spies to be everywhere, but we've got eyes in the sky and space lasers and fluff.

Hey last place, are you on crack? Express, primary and coop are catered to netting. The only servers where you can kill or AB anyone at random without gdi stopping you are alliance and ffa. For the most part everyone nets in both of those as well cuz the netters don’t like to be hit…..

You can't just attack people on Tourney? I know I don't really play there any more but I think that's wrong.
