Yes, but stating a word from your FA dept is an act of good faith and trust. Its why you're an FA of your alliance. Going against that act of good faith shows bad-form for the person who vulched/signed that pact. Although, you can differentiate on how you can view a NAP, but a word of an FA goes a long way in trust. I have no quarrel nor any bad views, but only showing my -own- opinion as well :)

if you want to be able to grab alliances and assure them you dont plan to war them, sign a DNW (Do Not War) pact. add grabbing/retal terms if need be. a NAP is specifically signed so no grabs can be made between the alliances. like Deci said if you sign your name to a pact with specific terms and an agreement towards another alliance to not make any landgrabs then you need to stick to it IMO. if you shot yourself in the foot by pacting too many people then you need to take responsibility, or at least have the courtesy to ask an alliance if they would be willing to open up to grabbing, rather then going on AT and telling them youve decided to break the pact and go back on your word.

thats my 7 cents worth.

Pain you have no idea what you are talking about. We haven't changed any terms or broken any pacts. Literally the only change we made was take alliances from DNH to Will Retal in our LG'ing database. That's it. Every alliance in earth is still entitled to retal MD on the exact same terms they have been doing all reset.

As for your assertion that we made a mistake in pacting, I take that personally =)

literally speaking, thats breaking a pact. but seen from another perspective, hell, with the NAP, you can end up to profit a lot from it. i would just shut up and find my ally funny.
