Sure.
-----If you do not wish to read my entire round of opinionations please skip to the last two paragraphs.
I come from a lost generation (Age need not apply). This is a generation that says you must earn your riches. That may be a car, a house, a small amassed fortune.
I look at the people I grew up with. Those with dedication to hard work have gotten places. It could be starting a business, going through med school or simply working OT in construction. I know 22yr olds with no RESP or "trust fund" that now own their own house, car, have successful marriages etc.
On the same token, I know quite a few 28 year olds who still live at home "to save money", some who work in minimum wage jobs, some who illegitimately use and abuse Workers Comp and Welfare.
Of the "99%", which percentage fall into group number 2 that I listed?
While I do agree with some points they are poorly trying to make (tax swaps etc), The people that drain the economy are those with months on hand to sit in makeshift tent-cities and scream about how the government isn't fair.
Onto this specific topic: Ok, valid point. One president will not be better than the next. Baraka Flocka is the same as the Dirty Mitt etc (Canada = Harper = Ignatief = any other past relevant leader).
Who elects the president? Not the corporations. They may create a president, but they do not elect him. This isn't the 30s-70s where the teamsters and mobsters can determine the presidency. The President is still elected by the general public. The "99%" if you will.

This movement has reached epic proportions, yet no one has stepped up to actually do anything about it. Sure, this guy and the next are blogging their whines, and a few people got off the couch to stand on the road every day (blocking and bothering hard working blue collar men like me on my way to work). Where is the Malcolm X, Where is the Dr. MLKJ? Where are the ones who will STAND UP AND LEAD THE MASSES. Simple, they are smoking a joint in their parents basements pondering the complexity that is their lack of monetary success. They are still in bed after the crazy night they had at the club last night. They WOULD step up...but the all new Jersey Shore is on at 7 and they don't have a PVR.
It all boils down to the Same Ole Same Old. Talking changes nothing. Thousands of people talking is just noise pollution. Thousands of people legitimately working for a change will produce a change. I have yet to see the latter. Until you're willing to seriously work for a change, at least *work* so your taxes will fix the potholes in the road that destroy my suspension costing me thousands in repairs every year.
PS: pt1) While this forum is open to all debates, sometimes good, sometimes only debated for the purpose of annoying, I will not actually read, nor give a crap, about any oppositions to my OPINIONS.
PS: pt2) I am in no way trying to say any of you fall under the above categories, although I don't doubt some of you do (and you know who you are).
