Here are my terms for his surrender.

Paulie cannot threaten untaggeds or 1 man tags if they do not join his alliance. He cannot do this ever again.
Paulie cannot use special attacks or missiles against untaggeds who have not attacked his alliance. He cannot do this ever again.
Paulie is still permitted to run his alliance Stones and to recruit people into it. He just cannot use threats as a recruiting method.

Paulie cannot farm 1 man tags ever again. This is to ensure that he stops picking fights with me.
Paulie must acknowledge that he picked the fight with me both last set and this set.

Paulie is still permitted to call me Sockman.


Does Paulie accept these terms? Tinysub can post as Paulie's proxy in order to confirm or reject these terms, or to suggest alternate terms of surrender.

On the contrary. I think my terms are quite reasonable. I'm not even asking him to stop farming untaggeds or disband his alliance, even though he's disbanded his alliance two sets in a row to run away from a war.

If SALT accepted him, I doubt they're going to allow him to do most of those things anyway. He shouldn't be farming/threatening one-man tags or untaggeds if he's under another clan.

And hopefully playing in a clan with guys like Link and PapaSmurf, he'll learn a thing or two not only about how to play the game better, but about common courtesy and how to run a clan, as well.

I have four terms that Paulie has to agree to in his surrender. If they are unreasonable, which of the four do you consider to be unreasonable?

The only one anywhere close to unreasonable is the prohibition on farming one man tags, but thats there partly to prevent Paulie from picking a fight with me again.

I'm not even asking him to refrain from namecalling. And I've even given him a position of honor in my alliance, as the head of the Complaints department.

What seems more unreasonable to me is that you apparently think you have the clout in a 32-country tag to try to push around a clan with 140 countries.

You're overplaying your hand, Rockman. We all recognize paulie's an idiot and not terribly good at the game, and generally if STONES keeps returning, it's going to be treated as farmland, but if you're going to talk to clans that are about 4-5 times bigger than you the way you have in this and the other thread, you're probably going to quickly find yourself in the same category as paulie as being irrelevant.

It's not that big of a deal really. Everyone can see the Rockman layed the smackdown on paulie. Rockman showed paulie what the rock was cooking.

And paulie is done with all the fluff. So, he wanted a fresh start and just have some fun. SALT is a relaxed place and fun place. Paulie realized that and realized he was in a losing war. So, he will regroup with us this set, and start out fresh next set.

Good luck teaching him, Smurf. I think you've got quite a project on your hands, but if you can rehabilitate him, he's certainly plenty active where he could be a valuable member if he knew what the hell he was doing.

Next set will be interesting. Hell this set has. Either way I'm planning on having fun :)

And this above example is not a one-time offense. Were I to have more time to adequately play this game, I could be a complete fluff about this, but I would like to settle this as calmly and rationally as possible.

Nothing wrong with trying to get an op NightShade .. although your post in general is confusing me so you may win this round

1) I'm not in NBK, so I could care less about what's going on with those spy ops, and besides, they're spy ops. Perhaps there are more spy ops, but if these are it, none are even damaging.

2) 32-country clans don't have the right to dictate terms to bigger clans unless they want to risk getting destroyed by said bigger clans. If Rockman wants to go recruit a bunch of friends and declare on SALT, he should, but until he does so, he's outnumbered by 100+ countries.

3) I'm pretty sure the same advice applies to you on dealing with NBK. If you're having issues with them, just like if Rockman is having issues with SALT, it's probably best to talk to them in private and not try to make them look bad on the boards. I'd warn you that not doing so might make them wipe you out and make you irrelevant, but your constant attempts to revive SOTA followed by your inevitable inactivity has pretty much already done that.

First off this thread HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NBK. If you have issues with NBK, how bout you go start a fluffing thread that says NBK Please contact. Only nubs start FA chats on FFAT.

I don't see why a couple of spy ops are such a big deal to you? Especially when its Off-topic to this thread, from another Clan.

Nightshade, Every Time you post you lose more credibility. If between between you and Seraph you can find more than 5 ops this WHOLE SET from my countries, I'd be surprised. Further that, Find me 1 Harmful spy op (or LG for that matter) from my countries... Didn't happen.

Try call me out on things I haven't done on FFAT again, I'll make sure SOTA is my little fluff. Complain about normal spy ops, and I'll give you something to complain about.

I can see on the profiles that Seraph was tagged PURGATORI the first round back. And I can see that both you strings were deleted in round 5. That's not to mention you both seem to run Reps, and starting last set Theos of around the same calibre. If you're not the same person, I'll be surprised.

Alright, Diz. No offense, I didn't check the tag your countries belonged to. I just found it funny that right after Cheesy and BigRick jumped ship to SALT, the DXoSOTA tag has been on the receiving end of countless grabs and spy-ops from their tag. And since my job is making what time I do have to play this set rather slim, I do not have the luxury of time to look over things more thoroughly. As it is, I have to be to work in roughly forty-five minutes.

As for Seraph, and what happened in Round 5, she cheated, not me. Granted we were playing from a public library as I didn't have enough cash to pay Comcast for the internet during from September 2010 to January of this year. And, because some issues of mine in RL have come up, namely my being a couple thousand dollars in arrears in some of my finances, I chose to cut costs to be able to make payments on my debts -- and as such, we won't have internet until at least June.

Again, granted we played from a public library at the time, I was unaware of her creating another set of countries, and since the library computers all have a shared connection it was only logical that any additional sets of countries created from the same IP address would have something like this happen. Since then, she's played by the rules, as have I.
