i heards you went to see soundgarden.

I did as well but i was told ours was better. Plus i got to meet everyone in the band, plus coheed, then free beers and foodz.

I have to say though our general admission was dead. Looked like a graveyard on the floor :(

I was in the owners booth though where things are awesomesauce.


Only bad part? Cornell hid backstage with his son so i never got to see him, only send down treats and chicken for his kid :(

Awsome that you got the free backstage tour lol. Were you helping set up for the show?

soundgarden was pretty awsome. Much better live than recorded. You could really feel the base vibrate through you for some songs lol.
Molson (no beer) ampitheatre was packed and the croud was really into it. There was a big lightening storm towards the end of the show which made a cool background for it. Didn't deter the people sitting in the unsheltered areas lol.

Cornell's kid was doing air drums randomly at the side of the stage during the show which was kind of amusing.

When they played spoonman I was like.. I remember getting kicked out of HS math because of this song lol.

yeah free tickets too. i wasnt complaining and had a great night.

Cornell still sounds amazing except i have to say that full on "mop" look he has going right now was a bit conserning :P

I missed spoonman as i was still running around back of house getting the night sorted.

caught bits of it as i was wizzing past though the halls.

it was the second he played, i made it to the owners booth just as it hit the end of spoonman then all was good so i was happy :P

there was one song he struggled with (can't remember what it was) but it was clearly beyond his ability to sing (mostly out of his range I think). Other than that yeah he was amazing, especially for 4th of july
