debating to get a gmail email or the new apple email coming out. so i can get the iphone 5

i like how the contacts calendar and everything syncs to the computer

I really dislike certain apple software, especially itunes. Why do I need a piece of software to build a database of my music and create it's only file management system when my computer already has one. Why can I not simply plug in the device and drag music onto it like every other friggen mp3 player out there. Seriously bad software architecture. Also if you lose the db file (or it gets corrupted all the files on it become meaningless.


I don't need a piece of hardware that feels the need to decide what should be on it for me and feels the need to add all kinds of extraneous information before i can use it.

Seriously.. a $20 mp3 player from walmart does a better job than a $200 ipod.
