hope it has nothing to do with FSU, to this point, being the largest disappointment in the ACC. Conference play starts soon so we shall see hmmmmm?

Yeah it sucks that Ian Miller was eligible to play until Dec 23rd and Terrance Shannon got injured vs UConn for the year costing us that game. Bernard James finally went into Beast Mode at Va Tech so I'll be there this Saturday when we hand UNC a loss at Gameday

lol -- I don't think they stand a chance vrs UNC. I dislike UNC, even from NC, and it's unlikely any other ACC team will slow them.

Our personnel issues were major though. Before the game in which Shannon got hurt he was averaging double figures. Plus now that Ian Miller is back he is averaging 14 ppg

these things are true. what bothers me is how UNC is ranked 3rd with losses to 2 unranked teams (I forget). It really bothered me when Duke was 3 and UNC 4. Duke with one loss to the top ranked Ohio St, and UNC with their 2 losses right on their tail.

Now they both have 2 losses and im not so bothered by the rankings since they dont mean a lot anyway. AND I will agree that UNC is probably the better team and if they played this week would likely win that game.

I think missing two key cards who are woth over 30ppg and your 7'1 star center forcing your team to play literal walk-ons plural would also be deemed "major." With folks back, I'm still not happy with my Terps performance. But, I hold out hope as I really like Turgeon as a coach (can't say the same for football coach although he is suddenly getting recruits).

current rankings yes. were talking ranks at the time of the game. and im pretty sure i mentioned that I forgot who they lost two but thought they were unranked. so i cant take you seriously if you keep calling my assumptions fact based. dur. and if you didnt notice i said i was a Wake Forest fan (who arent any good)... looks like you are the one who is arrogant.

yeah, and Kentucky was ranked #1 at the time they played. thats about as far from being unranked as you can get.

kinda weird that you would forget that because it was a very anticipated matchup in which UNC was going to be #1 and Kentucky #2 but UNC lost a few days before the game. to UNLV who is ranked 12th now. not my fault that they were massivly underranked when UNC played them. thats kinda whi i used the currents ranks instead of the first 2 weeks of the season whogivesafluff peseason rankings.

Coach is a classy guy so he's going along with it to help Roy. But Roy was harassing the refs about this with 40 seconds left. I sit front row on that side of the arena.

It only takes one game to be out of the tournament. At the same time, the only teams that can last are those who have the capacity to streak. It's why I love ncaam.

Sadly we came up short, but at least we got the announcers to shut up about FSU leading opponents for 100minutes straight. It was literally 2 minutes after they said this for the 4th time that Maryland took the lead.

Of course by some people's logic, we're better than UNC by default of a lower score and keeping the game close for so long. I'm not sure I buy that logic. We are definitely a growing team. The good news is I'm beginning to like Turgeon more and more.

FSU has somehow found one of the most potent offenses in the country since UNC. Not sure if it's just confidence or if it's just a streak but I. Hoping we have at least one more of these offensive games against Duke Saturday. Also Maryland still has a very good shot at the NCAAs if they can beat Temple.
