The new Shelby 1000 does NOT have the highest horsepower achieved out of a production v8(600HP, really? that's what you are going to call it? fluffing learn to do real research.) Highest for a production Mustang? or Ford? Highest ever production v8? NO, that belongs to the 1287HP SSC Ultimate Aero. Even the ZR1 corvette makes more than 600HP in its V8.
