Gas prices always jump when it comes to long weekends. They say its because of supply and demand. Yes i know there is more of a demand on long weekends. But they raise it a week before in anticipation of the long weekend in order to jump on gouging everyone and then using the ole supply and demand excuse.
Sadly though we have to rely on fuel in order to maintain our recreational lives and work lives. So in the end ill pay whatever needs to be paid in order to do what i need to do.
1.65 a litre I paid the other day (Aus)
But yeah, just because oil is down doesn't mean fuel will come down. in fact it will go up again no doubt. and I mean overall not price cycle.
i paid 1.71 euro last week for petrol(in ireland) there was a lot of pressure on petrol stations and governmant to drop the price since its gone up 15-20 cent per litre in last 2-3 months since then gov reduced tax on fuel and with the price of oil falling it was reduced to 1.67 yes only 4 cent cheaper its a joke
i ain't stocking it till it gets to $49/barrel.
hmmm, don't think i've purchased gas since August. might mean that i'm not chemically dependent on it. not sure, how long is withdrawal supposed to last?
