Might wanna post on the Bugs ad Suggestion boards. I had Login issues myself yesterday. qzul said it was something about cookies.

Maybe delete your cookies. If that don't work, get a glass of cold milk ad dunk the cookies. Won't help you log in, but..

I didn't have the captcha problem, but I did have the same problem as Dragon the other day. I switched to IE while Chrome deleting cookies, etc.
